I didn’t take up golf until later in life. Shortly after catching the bug, I joined a private golf club. It was there I learned the classic traditions of the game—the etiquette, tucking in your shirt, taking your hat off inside the clubhouse. But as much as I loved the game and those traditions, I realized something was missing. Most of my friends and golf buddies didn't play at private clubs.
I kept seeing the same barrier everywhere: stylish, high-quality golf gear was wildly overpriced. You shouldn't have to choose between buying a single polo or paying for your green fees. Golf—and the incredible lifestyle that comes with it—should be inclusive and accessible to everyone. I built Laid Back Links so more people could get into the game earlier, look sharp, and feel confident without breaking the bank.
While I grew up in the Midwest (Minnesota), I’ve lived in North Carolina for most of my life. I’ve always loved the coast and the relaxed vibes it brings. The more I worked on the brand, the clearer its true identity became: laid-back coastal prep, inspired by beautiful coastlines, beaches, coastal towns, and the effortless style that comes with them. From our signature Intracoastal Polos to the Tradewinds Shorts and Southport Pants, every piece is crafted to handle the Southern heat and transition smoothly from a sunrise tee time to a casual evening down at the local brewery.

No problem at all! You don't need to return the entire bundle. If your polo fits perfectly but you need a different size in your shorts (or vice versa), just email our team at orders@laidbacklinks.com with your order number. We will gladly swap out the single item for the correct size.
Laid Back Links will send you a prepaid return label, and as soon as we receive confirmation that the original item is on its way back to us, we'll get your new size shipped out!
